This Wüsthof Classic Ikon 2-piece knife set is comprised of a Chinese chef’s knife and a practical pull-through sharpener to make sure your knife stays sharp. The knife sharpener has two phases: a coarse diamond-coated sharpener and a fine ceramic sharpener. Use the coarse phase when you use this sharpener for the first time to sharpen a knife. This way you restore the fold and ensure that the knife has a sharpening angle of 17 degrees per side. You use the fine side to make sure the knife stays sharp.
